Terpenes are not directly involved in the growth, development or reproduction of the plant. Instead, they are produced to attract certain insects and animals for pollination purposes or defend against consumption by certain pests and herbivores that may try and consume the plant.

The Sleep blend has been developed based on the terpenes that are believed to show the most promising results in the area of sleep and relaxation. It is high in terpenes such as Linalool and Humulene which can have calming and relaxing effects.
