Perth Businesses Collaborate on Health & Wellbeing ‘Wellness Station’

Perth businesses Industrial Vending Systems and Happiness Co have collaborated to bring the nations first Wellness Station to workplaces across Australia.

Aiming to improve awareness, engagement and access to health and wellbeing resources The Wellness Station provides 24/7 self-service access to employees in workplaces and remote sites across Australia.

Practical tools in the Wellness Station include mental health programs, podcasts and happiness diaries from Perth’s Happiness Co, alongside a range of health and wellbeing resources that promote mindfulness, fitness and general wellbeing.

This highly visible solution is ideal to:

• Promote mental health and wellbeing
• Provide 24/7 self-service access to programs and resources
• Engage employees with workplace health programs
• Minimise mental health risks, and;
• Reduce the stigma around mental health and seeking help

IVS are delighted to be launching a Wellness Station at Monson Agencies Australia this week and are already in talks with several other early adopters for their offices here in Perth and for their remote sites across WA.

The system also enables employers to easily track usage, assisting them to measure engagement with programs and resources. We believe the ability to measure the impact of mental health initiatives is critical to continuous improvement and creating real change.

Employees use a unique access card to vend programs and resources either free of charge or up to a set limit, subsidised by the organisation.

With the workplace identified as an appropriate setting for mental health support, IVS and Happiness Co hope it will provide assistance to all Australians, in particular the 45% of adult Australians who (according to an ABS study) will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime.
